001. If your link to your fanfic is incorrect, then I'll automatically put it in the 'trash' bin (everyone can see the 'trashed' fanfics) and I won't email or pm anyone - it is your responsibility to make sure the link is correct.

002. Nominations may only come from the author of the fanfic itself - not from someone else - sorry - but it makes it too hard on me.

003. You may only nominate your fanfic in up to three categories at once. You can, however, nominate as many fanfics as you like at once. You also can nominate the same fic in as many fandoms as you like (example, a crossover fic can be in all the crossover fandoms).

004. No nominations will be accepted after the deadline date.

005. Fiction must be rated correctly. Also, the fic must have the author, title, pairing, and any warnings for things such as slash, character death, rape, spoilers, etc in the warnings field. No fics will be accepted if they contain underage incest, racism, or that is deemed unaccepted by the owner of this site. Rape may be implied but never described. Use your judgment. The owner has the right to deny any entry for any reason without warning, notice, or said reason.

006. Your fanfic must be complete and not a work-in-progress unless it is for the 'Best WIP Fic' or 'Best Virtual Season' categories. Those two are the only two allowed to be works-in-progress.

007. All authors who submit at least one fanfic nomination into the awards will be added to the list for 'Best Fic Author' for whatever fandom they submitted it for. You can not nominate yourself for the 'Best Fic Author' category.

008. As the board owner, awards owner, etc, I have the right to add more rules at any given time for any reason at all.

009. You are not required to link back to us. However, it is a benefit to you because outside people will be allowed to come and vote in the polls during the judging period so you might want to (a link, use our button, or make one of your own). Your choice but to be clear, it is not mandatory.

010. Always be polite and courteous on this board, we do not allow any harassment of any kind towards staff or other members. To do so will get you an automatic ban from the site forever and a warning on other award sites.
